After previously working with a basic information website, the step forward to a content management system complete with a course booking facility was even greater than we could have imagined. The new web solution we have supplied allows users to browse various courses, classes, workshops & summer schools are make a simple online booking within seconds of arrival on the website as if a user lands on your mobile website and is frustrated or doesn’t see what they are looking for, there’s a 61% chance they will leave immediately and go to another website (most likely a competitor). As Designers, Marketers & brand builders, this is something we would never allow.
It’s become a necessity for all of our new website developments to be fluently responsive across all platforms to aim for a great user experience no matter where the customer is viewing the website from. Not only will it benefit your Google listing and boost your SEO, a large percentage of users will more than likely be visiting the website via mobile, so making sure we can provide the best user experience is our main goal.
PWA Agency’s mission is to develop and manage our carefully selected young actors and actresses for long-term success in theatre, television, commercial, industrial and film media. They pledge to offer a diverse portfolio of talent, while maintaining the highest standards for our clients. As part of joining PWA Associates each artist is automatically required to join The Spotlight as a performing artist; The Spotlight being the main casting breakdown provider for the entertainment industry and used by all Agencies and Casting Directors, from Theatre, Television and Film. With this in mind the success rate from ‘academy to industry’ is extremely high, especially with PWA’s recent National Theatre Connections Acting Completion Win.
PWA win secured a One-Night-Only Performance at the National Theatre Connections Festival at the National Theatre, Southbank, London on 30th June. This is a most amazing opportunity for these students and for some, a once in a lifetime opportunity to act at the National Theatre, South Bank, London. Most of these students have been training at the Peploe Williams Academy from as young as 5 years old. All their hard work and talent has culminated in this very special opportunity.
We were also asked to create a series of launch material to promote the event of the website going live. From GIFs, to Facebook Adverts, to promotional videos to social media takeovers, we covered all areas to push the release of the website of Buckingham’s leading performing arts academy.
We used a layered image collage with defused shadows and overlaid glows to tie in with the look of the website and give off the ‘show business’ feel. Capturing the message and vision of such a driven and dedicated academy was made simple for us by not only the high level of photography, but also the great level of professionalism and ability portrayed by these future stars that we hoped to highlight within our visuals.
Working on behalf of the PWA seemend an exciting and entertaining prospect, as we had never worked with clients in this sector before, and we were given full creative control and at the first bite of the cherry we made sure we delivered. We look forward to continuing to work as the official Creative partner for the Peploe Williams Academy as they continue to produce some of the household names for the future.
