Tilley’s Wines, is an independent, family business, led by Ivor Tilley, which specialises in importing top quality, South Australian wines from small producers, focusing on the regions: McLaren Vale, Adelaide Hills and Clare Valley. The business started in 1985 and today is proud to represent over ten boutique South Australian vineyards exclusively in the UK, and is always on the lookout to add exciting, undiscovered wineries to their hand-picked portfolio. 
Since launching the business twenty five years ago, the response from friends and clients looking for quality reds and whites has been explosive. All of Tilley’s Wines’s efforts are put into sourcing World wines which have been hand-crafted through the use of own-grown grapes, where an emphasis on yield and flavour takes precedent over the sometimes dull solutions offered through mass-production in the UK.

Fine purveyors of creativity

Like any busy e-commerce website there needs to be additional enhancements and reskins over time due to the introduction of new technology. Tilley’s have been extremely happy with their original website site that has been live for 5 years. With the recent introduction of mobile responsive technology, they were intrigued when we presented their marketing team with some new mobile templates and complete site reskin. The rest is history…

The new site needed to contain all the very latest ecommerce box of tricks which include:

Wine and wisdom

The new site will be sure to set the trends within the online wine industry. From Tilley’s humble online beginnings, we expect the site to become an online giant not only with the new design and functionality but also the carefully selected premium world wines plus the companies passion for perfection.

The new product comparison facility is a first for the market but was an obvious addition for a product like fine wine. The mobile functionality will also bring a whole new environment for purchasing wine from a smart phone and if predictions are correct will put Tilley’s ahead of the game for the next few years.
