When redesigning the Holidays4Dogs website it was essential to remember the importance of supplying a modern, fresh and appealing aesthetic, whilst bearing in mind the target market – women and men (mainly women) aged 50+. We were also trying to keep some likeness to the original look and feel of the brand as we were dealing with an already established name. Using a combination of clean, simplistic, layered graphics, and transparent headers, the website provides a very modern feel, whilst keeping the style of artwork inline with the brand of Holidays4Dogs over the past few years.
The new Holidays4Dogs website works fluently on all platforms providing users with a much better user experience that they would have been used to before, not only in terms of the aesthetics, the new design will save users time allowing them to reach their desired destination in much less time.
Ensuring that our new design also tied in with the exclusive members area of the website (that was created by a third party) added a new challenge to the project. It’s from this registration area that inspired a lot of the minimalistic graphics and excessive spacing which is what we feel contributes greatly to our clean and easy to read final product./p>
Our animation outlines each of the stages in which users will need to carry out before sending their dog off on their holiday. Each stage isn complimented by a snappy animation to help explain each procedure. The video ties in the complete feel and look of the website but putting emphasis on the bright and playful corporate colours that Holidays4Dogs fortunately present themselves with.
The video also helps portray the fun, happy & kind hearted aura surrounding a company driven by the love for dogs and respect for importance of great customer service.
